We are seeking an experienced and passionate Healthy Lifestyles Lead to join our Staffordshire Families Health & Wellbeing Service (0–19) to drive forward our prevention and population health agenda.

This is a leadership role focused on improving outcomes for children, young people and families through evidence-based healthy lifestyle interventions. You will lead on key priorities including healthy weight, smoking, vaping, alcohol and substance use, as well as leading on the delivery of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).

You will play a vital role in shaping services, reducing health inequalities, and ensuring our approach is data-driven, innovative and grounded in the lived experiences of the communities we serve.

Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of healthy lifestyle initiatives across the 0–19 service
Lead the delivery and performance of the NCMP programme
Use local and national data to identify priorities and improve population health outcomes
Translate national guidance (e.g. NICE) into effective local practice
Provide expert leadership, advice and training to staff
Develop a network of Healthy Lifestyle Champions
Work collaboratively with partners including Local Authority, schools, Family Hubs and public health teams
Embed co-production and lived experience into service design
Monitor and report on performance, outcomes and service impact
