AllSfär designs and makes acoustic products, from ceiling rafts to wall panels, right here in our Watford factory. We're Made in Britain certified, our felt is made from recycled plastic bottles, and our products have just been shortlisted at the Mix Interiors Awards 2026. Architects and interior designers specify us because our products actually look good, not just because they work. And we're growing fast, which means there's real room to grow with us.

The role

You'll lead our Customer Service team, and you'll strengthen how orders move from Sales into Production as we keep growing. This is a role for someone who's a natural coach, who spots when someone on their team needs support before it shows up as a problem, and who's just as happy processing an order themselves as they are developing the person next to them.

What you'll be doing

Getting hands-on

Process customer orders yourself when the team needs it. This isn't a role where you only direct from above
Keep CRM records (NetSuite, Pipedrive) accurate and up to date, and own customer credit limits and new account set-up

Continuous improvement

Own your numbers. Know what's driving order rework, complaint volume and turnaround time, and act on what you see rather than waiting to be asked
Close the loop with customers: understand what's actually driving their queries and feed that back into how the business works

People leadership

Coach your team proactively. Notice when someone's finding something hard before it turns into a performance issue
Own the full journey for your people, from hiring and onboarding through to development, so the team grows in capability, not just headcount
Build a team culture where feedback feels normal and people feel genuinely supported to improve

Strengthening the handover between Sales and Production

Improve how orders move from Sales into Production, reducing queries, missing information and last-minute surprises
Anticipate where things could go wrong and have a plan before they do, not just chase problems after they've happened
Work closely with Sales and Production day to day so information flows both ways, cleanly

What we're looking for

You've led a Customer Service team before, ideally somewhere that makes physical products
You understand production, not just how to answer the phone
You're comfortable working across departments and holding people to a process, kindly but firmly
You read what's behind a number, not just the number itself
You'd rather fix something yourself than wait for someone to ask you to
