Key Responsibilities

Inspect surface preparation activities such as cleaning, blasting, grinding, and coating removal.
Verify surface cleanliness, profile, and environmental conditions before painting.
Monitor paint and coating application processes, including mixing, thinning, and application methods.
Measure and record coating thickness using approved inspection instruments.
Conduct wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT) inspections.
Inspect coating appearance for defects such as runs, sags, blistering, pinholes, cracking, and peeling.
Verify compliance with project specifications, procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
Witness and document coating tests and inspections.
Prepare daily inspection reports and quality reports.
Maintain inspection logs, calibration records, and test results.
Document none-conformities and corrective actions.
Review contractor quality documentation and coating records.
Submit reports to project management and clients as required.
Dispatch painted pipe spools from contractor facilities to site laydown.

Qualifications

Pay: £25.33 per hour
