Job Overview

Level 1 / 2 / preschool

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing participants of various ages and skill levels in gymnastics, fostering a safe and encouraging environment that promotes physical development, confidence, and enjoyment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their growth in a supportive setting.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to individual skill levels and age groups
Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic movements and routines, ensuring safety at all times
Monitor participants’ progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance their skills
Organise warm-up exercises, drills, and cool-down routines to minimise injury risk
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist with the organisation of competitions, displays, or exhibitions as required
Foster a positive atmosphere that motivates participants to achieve their personal best
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or injuries

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety procedures, and training methods
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of all ages
Organised with the ability to plan structured lessons that are both educational and enjoyable
Ability to adapt coaching styles to suit different learning needs and abilities
Enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles

This role is ideal for individuals committed to nurturing talent in a fun, safe environment while fostering personal development in their athletes.

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
