Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our vibrant café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a positive experience to customers and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively setting while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and efficient manner, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper hygiene practices and cleanliness of work areas.
Support food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods as required.
Maintain cleanliness of the café environment, including counters, tables, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
Uphold the café’s standards for presentation, service quality, and customer satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is desirable.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for supporting kitchen tasks when needed.
Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout shifts.
Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork. Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
