Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Coach Driver with a valid CPC qualification to join our team in Stourbridge for primarily school/ colleges and day trips. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your driving expertise within a professional and customer-focused environment.

Duties

Safely operate coach vehicles in accordance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct daily vehicle checks, including mechanical inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service throughout journeys.
Maintain accurate records of journeys, vehicle inspections, and any incidents.
Assist with loading and unloading luggage or equipment as required.
Report any vehicle defects or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team.

Requirements

Valid CPC qualification for coach driving.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or coach driver, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
Demonstrable driving skills with a clean driving licence, including experience operating large vehicles such as lorries or coaches.
Prior experience in passenger transport or delivery services is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced drivers committed to safety and customer satisfaction within a well-established organisation.

Pay: £130.00 per day
