Full job description

Scofell Landscapes are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Landscape Operative to join our team based near Chieveley, Newbury. You will work as part of a small team delivering a variety of hard and soft landscaping tasks across different sites, helping us maintain our reputation for high‑quality workmanship.

You and the team will be responsible for the following:

Ground preparation
Planting shrubs and trees following site plans
Turfing, grass seeding and creating wildflower areas
Supporting both hard and soft landscaping projects
Ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
Following all health and safety policies and procedures
A CSCS card is an advantage, and training may be provided for the right candidate

Key Skills & Experience

Candidates should ideally have previous experience within landscaping or a similar outdoor role and should demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and pride in delivering high‑quality work.

Ideally some prior landscaping experience
A full UK driving licence is essential
CSCS card desirable but not essential
Good plant knowledge and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
