About the role:
LDE UTC is a highly ambitious, fast-moving organisation where innovation meets education. Following the launch of our state of the art facilities in 2019, we expanded our campus in September 2025 with a brand-new, cutting-edge teaching block. As our student population rapidly grows, we are constantly optimising our spaces and launching exciting new technical courses, particularly across our post-16 provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking college and play a key role in shaping the future of technical education.
The College is seeking to employ a dynamic Facilities Manager to oversee the estate, including health and safety. In particular, you will build on the current high standards in our facilities and levels of compliance to provide efficient and effective use of our facilities, integrating the new building seamlessly into our estate. We are an exemplar for health and safety compliance, having recently been awarded a school safety award, and you will support us in continuing this journey of excellence as we grow.

About the School:
Following our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2025) under the revised national framework, LDE UTC has been awarded five ‘Exceptional’ judgements, the highest possible recognition, reserved for practice described as “of the highest standard nationally” and from which “other schools can learn”. We are one of the first schools in the country to be inspected under this new approach, making the outcomes even more noteworthy.
This is not just a strong report. It is a landmark validation of the model of employer-led, inclusive, future-facing education that our community has built together. For more information on the Ofsted report please visit: https://www.ldeutc.co.uk/key-info/about-us/ofsted--inspections.aspx
