Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and residents.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure all areas are tidy and well-maintained, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Assist with cooking tasks as needed, preparing simple meals or snacks for residents or guests.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred but not essential.
Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and residents.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
