Manage and coordinate daily office activities, including scheduling drivers jobs, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment, supporting staff, and maintaining effective communication channels. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and attention to detail to contribute to our company's success.

Duties

Answering incoming calls, booking jobs and coordinating our fleet of lorries to make sure jobs run efficiently.
Oversee procurement of office supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to promote organisational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the company environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably within a similar industry.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide team members.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism.
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities.
Relevant qualifications in business administration or related fields are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
