Full job description

Massarella Catering Group is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Payroll & Office Administrator to join our Head Office team near Sheffield.

We are a family-run business operating around 50 cafés across the UK in well-known retail and leisure locations including John Lewis, Next, TK Maxx, garden centres and outlet villages. We pride ourselves on our supportive team culture and are looking for someone who enjoys variety, administration and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll and office administration experience who would enjoy working in a varied role supporting both payroll and facilities.

The Role

As Payroll & Office Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our Head Office functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing a monthly payroll and resolving payroll queries and discrepancies
Maintaining accurate payroll and HR records, including new starters and leavers
Preparing month-end payroll reports
Monitoring and collating accident records and documentation
Managing maintenance contracts and liaising with suppliers regarding repairs and annual servicing
Maintaining accurate systems, spreadsheets and office records
Communicating with managers, suppliers and internal departments to support smooth operations

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in payroll and office administration
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & Outlook
Friendly, professional and confident communicating with colleagues and suppliers
Able to manage workloads independently and prioritise tasks effectively
