Full job description

Ensuring the security and safety of premises and people at large, multi-site sites.

Working in a small security operations team, you will travel around and between sites to carry out a range of duties including:

To patrol outside sites in marked patrol vehicle and on foot.

Secure Locking and unlocking of premises.

Patrolling buildings, public areas, car parks and grounds on foot to deter and detect problems.
Driving a marked security vehicle to carry out external mobile patrols and travel between sites
Attending and managing emergencies, including alarm activations.
Investigating and writing detailed reports on incidents, liaising with police and other third parties as necessary.

Hours of work are typically 48 hours/week covering Monday – Sunday, days and nights. Pay rate is £13.10/hour.

A driving licence and SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license are essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
Five years’ checkable history and references
Computer literacy
