Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of comfort and hygiene for all visitors. Previous hotel experience and a background in hospitality or janitorial services are advantageous. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment committed to delivering exceptional guest service.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or assistance
Follow health and safety procedures consistently to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and holidays if necessary
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
A proactive approach to guest satisfaction and cleanliness standards

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
