Nursery Practitioner (Must be Level 3) – Sunningdale (SL5)

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Full-time position
Monday to Friday working pattern
Shifts scheduled within nursery operating hours
No regular weekend work required

Job Description
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within a welcoming nursery setting, supporting children’s early development through engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS principles. This setting offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow with confidence. Located in Sunningdale, Berkshire (SL5), the nursery provides a supportive team culture with a strong focus on quality care, creativity, and continuous development. This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room
Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS
Monitor and record children’s development and progress
Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support children’s emotional wellbeing and development
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety
Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation
Promote positive behaviour and development outcomes

Requirements

Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous experience working within a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and early years development
Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident working both independently and within a team
