Full job description

The opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Compound Coordinator to join our team at our Volkswagen Van Centre in Birmingham. Reporting into the Head of Business you delivery and preparation of new vehicles.

This is a hands on role where you’ll be on your feet moving vehicles around the compound, planning deliveries/drivers for the day, completing delivery paperwork and completing local drop-off jobs in the area.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Liaising with the Sales Manager
Fuelling vehicles
Delivering new vehicles to customers
Completion of delivery paperwork
Road testing vehicles
Preparing the compound for drop offs and deliveries
Coordinating and prioritising deliveries

More about you

For this role we require applicants to have a full UK driving licence and experience of driving vehicles of all different sizes, including; manual, automatic and performance vehicles.
You should enjoy working as part of team and be able to communicate easily and provide a polite and friendly service to our customers.

We’re expanding our own-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don’t stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
