Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for clients and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Change bed linens, organise supplies, and restock items as necessary.
Dispose of rubbish and ensure waste is correctly segregated and removed.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any repairs or shortages promptly.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Flexible approach to working hours; availability during weekdays is preferred.
