As a BSI10125-accredited repairer, we repair all makes and models of vehicles, working alongside major insurers and private customers to deliver safe, manufacturer-approved repairs.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Paint Technician / Paint Prep Technician to join our award-winning team.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to carry out vehicle preparation, refinishing, and paintwork to the highest possible standard.
The successful applicant will take pride in their workmanship, have excellent attention to detail, and work efficiently within a fast-paced repair environment.
Depending on experience, the role may involve a mixture of:
- Vehicle preparation
- Priming
- Masking
- Flatting and polishing
- Paint application
- Colour matching
- Quality control inspections
- Final finishing work
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare repaired panels and replacement panels for paint.
- Sand, prime, mask and prepare vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Mix and apply paint materials accurately.
- Carry out refinishing work to a high standard.
- Perform polishing and rectification work when required.
- Ensure all work meets BSI10125 and manufacturer repair standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians and Workshop Control to achieve production targets.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Carry out quality checks before vehicles progress to the next stage of repair.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a vehicle paint or paint preparation role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- ATA or IMI accreditation.
- Experience working within a busy accident repair centre.
- Experience using water-based paint systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturer repair methods and BSI10125 requirements.

- IMI / ATA Automotive Qualification (preferred)
