Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Childcare Manager to lead our well-established early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about high-quality childcare, confident in leading a team, and eager to bring fresh ideas into a supportive setting.

You’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own, drive quality improvements, and help shape the future of the provision alongside an established and dedicated team.

Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week (Flexible)

The Role Includes:

✔ Leading, motivating and supporting an early years team

✔ Staff supervision, appraisals and day-to-day performance support

✔ Rota planning and maintaining staffing ratios

✔ Supporting quality improvement

✔ Ensuring CIW compliance

✔ Building positive relationships with children, families and staff

✔ Maintaining strong safeguarding practice

✔ Supporting children with a range of individual needs, including awareness of ALN legislation and inclusive practice

Essential Requirements:

Level 5 CCLD

Management experience within early years (Preferred)

Driving licence

Willingness to learn and adapt in a business nursery environment

Desirable:

Flying Start Expansion experience

Experience leading a CIW inspection
