Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will support the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with meal and food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, following established recipes and safety guidelines
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, and assembling dishes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards
Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Serve meals efficiently to customers or staff while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
Follow all health and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
Support the team during busy service times by managing multiple tasks with energy and precision

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety regulations, and serving procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
