Full job description

Overview
We are a family run, 1400 acre arable farm based in North Essex looking for a skilled and motivated harvest worker. We currently grow winter wheat, spring barley, spring beans and OSR.

Duties

Corn carting
Post harvest cultivations
Grain store management and monitoring
General duties to support the daily running of the farm and other diversifications.
Telehandler work, including loading lorries
Machinery maintenance

Requirements

Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred
Driving licence
Telehandler ticket and experience preferred although training can be arranged (pending course availability)
Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair is beneficial
Physically able to meet the demands of the role
Long hours and weekends would be needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Previous cultivation experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
