Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter / General Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and plumbing systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role offers an opportunity to utilise a broad range of skills including plumbing, carpentry and the use of power tools, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Applicants must be reliable, physically fit, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Installing new bathroom suites, including baths, basins, toilets, and associated fixtures
- Repairing or replacing faulty plumbing components in existing installations
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Conducting routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the assembly of plumbing components and fixtures as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, bathroom fitting, or related trades
- general carpentry skills and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- applicant needs to have a driving licence
- Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to plumbing work
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments

Pay: £140.00-£220.00 per day
