Data & Intelligence Lead

Permanent

Grade 6 - £54,495 - £64,811

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Equal Pay Programme

Working 36.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced leader to drive data, intelligence, and digital innovation within our Adult Social Care & Health Directorate. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the delivery of integrated data systems, improve data quality, and deliver actionable insights to support better outcomes for residents.

What You’ll Do

Lead data governance, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and reliable data across the organisation
Act as business lead for key digital products and chair relevant boards
Develop and deliver a clear digital product vision and roadmap
Oversee the design of integrated data systems, pipelines, and BI solutions
Support and deliver dashboards, reporting, and insights to inform senior decision-making
Manage and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of data-driven improvement

What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership in data, digital, or analytics within complex organisations
Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and data quality frameworks
Experience delivering digital products and managing teams
Expertise in data integration, BI tools, and analytics platforms
Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills
