Moog Wolverhampton is seeking a proactive and technically adept Quality Engineer to work a rotating shift pattern to provide quality engineering support to the operational manufacturing area of the business. You’ll play a critical role in assessing risk, ensuring process conformity, and enhancing product quality through hands-on inspection, collaboration, and problem-solving. This is a high-impact position ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, technical depth and cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Contract review and dissemination of customer quality requirements into the business.
Support the appropriate teams from a quality viewpoint and ensure quality requirements are understood and incorporated.
The management and introduction of new contracts into the company from a quality viewpoint.
Management of the customer interface on quality related issues.
Day to day quality engineering responsibilities including:-
Part Inspection
Conformity Inspection
Defect investigations / root cause analysis / 8D Investigations
Corrective action / improvement introduction
Responsibility for day to day Quality Assurance activities such as auditing, quality systems maintenance and improvement, where required.

What You’ll Bring

The candidate should ideally be HNC/degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
Have experience in problem solving and corrective action implementation
Have good communication skills for interfacing with departments and customers.
Must have a drivers licence and be willing to travel.
The role will involve overseas travel.
Competence in the use of measuring techniques and equipment
Aerospace experience and an understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems would be an advantage.
