Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial services, domestic, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating tidy, organised spaces.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to high standards
Ensure all surfaces are free of dust, dirt, and stains using appropriate cleaning agents
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed
Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as window washing or carpet cleaning when required
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Assist with organising supplies and keeping storage areas tidy

Skills

Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques suitable for hotels or large-scale facilities is advantageous
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and tools efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Basic cooking or customer service experience can be beneficial in roles that involve hospitality settings
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules and priorities
