A day in the life snippet of a pest control technician would involve travelling from your home direct to customer premises through out the day and visiting a variety of sites, you would be responsible for planning your own routes and jobs that are assigned to you. Upon completion of your work you’ll return to your home address in the works vehicle. As and when required you will visit our stores and office based in Whitchurch for support and vehicle stock.

Overview
As we expand our team, we are looking for a detail oriented Pest Control Technician to join us in our mission to create pest-free environments for commercial and domestic customers.
This role requires the chosen candidate to work across the north west. We have two possible locations that would meet our requirements. If you live in the areas between Crewe - Market Drayton or Shrewsbury - Oswestry then you may be suitable for this role.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans based off the severity.
- Apply pesticides and other control measures in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide clients with information on pest prevention and control methods, ensuring they understand the services provided.
- Maintain accurate records of services completed, including details of treatments applied and recommendations given.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up on service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about new pest control products, techniques, and regulations to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field. RSPH Level 2 is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
- A willingness to learn about pest biology, behaviour, and control methods is essential.
- Must be able to pass background checks (DBS) and any necessary certifications related to pest control practices.
