Job summary

Our Pharmacy Technician responsibilities include:

Undertaking a clinical, technical, and administrative role.
Supporting our Clinical Pharmacist in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
Assisting with medication safety monitoring systems.
Performing medicines improvement work to maximise safe, cost-effective best practice in prescribing. under the supervision of the Clinical Pharmacist or GP
Liaising with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicine-related queries.
Monitoring practice prescribing and local and national prescribing policies.
Supporting the Clinical Pharmacist in Structured Medication Reviews, organise necessary monitoring tests before SMR.
Undertaking a patient-supporting role to ensure effective medicines use through shared decision-making
Supporting medicine reconciliation of patients whose care is transferred back into primary care in a timely and effective manner, liaising with patients and other providers to ensure patients receive appropriate medication post discharge.

Pay: £26,486.00-£30,743.00 per year
