Skilled Butcher

Taste of Devon Butchers are seeking a skilled butcher to join our retail butchery team.

Company Description:

Taste of Devon Butchers is an independent, traditional butcher’s shop focused on quality, provenance, and customer service. We work closely with trusted local suppliers to provide high-quality beef, pork, and lamb, offering customers expertly prepared meat and friendly, knowledgeable service.

Job Type:

Preferably full time
Part time considered

Job Responsibilities:

Ideally able to break down full carcasses (beef, pork, and lamb)
Sausage making
Serving customers in a retail shop environment
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of products

Requirements:

Previous experience as a butcher
Knowledge of traditional butchery techniques
Good customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Pay:

Competitive rate, dependent on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,167.25-£38,000.00 per year
