An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part time Care Assistant - 4 days a week

About us

Spring House Care Home is a small family run outstanding by CQC Care Home on the outskirts of Tavistock in Peter Tavy. We are professional, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to provide high quality specialist care for those who suffer from various forms of dementia, making sure that we have our residents wishes and needs at the heart of the care that we provide. .

We are seeking a responsible and detail oriented individual who can assist our lovely residents, with there day to day activities, Experience/NVQ 2 in social care preferred, but not essential, as training is provided for suitable applicants.

- Our workplace is there home.

- The role will include all aspects of personal care, maintaining residents hygiene.

- Making sure that all there needs are met with a personal centered approach.

- Also maintaining the tidiness of the home.

- We are looking for an Individual to come fit in with our team here, who are about providing the best for our residents

We have part time hours available

Theses hours are working Days and Evenings

- We are currently unavailable to offer Sponsorship at this time.

- Own transport essential - NO public transport

- Please be aware that we are not on a bus route.

Qualifications
- NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Previous experience in care homes or home care settings
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication

- Starting wage £13.00ph whilst in the probation period, then after 3 months probation goes up to £14.00ph
