Full job description

We are looking for an AC Improver to join our team on a hotel project in Telford, Shropshire, working alongside experienced engineers on 1st fix installation.

The Role – 1st Fix Installation

Assisting with installation of containment (trunking, tray, brackets, hangers)
Supporting refrigerant pipework installation and preparation
Assisting with cabling and control wiring pulls
Setting out and installing unit brackets and supports
Material handling, site set-up and keeping work areas clean and safe
Learning on the job under supervision of qualified AC engineers

Requirements

Some previous experience in air conditioning, mechanical or ductwork installation
Willingness to learn and progress towards a fully qualified engineer role
Ability to work from basic drawings (training given)
CSCS card (essential)
F-Gas (advantageous, not essential)
IPAF / PASMA
Own hand tools
Good work ethic and reliable timekeeping
Right to work in the UK
