CapEx & Facilities Investments

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Market Drayton, hybrid working with occasional UK travel

At Müller, we’re passionate about delivering quality products while creating a sustainable future. As our Procurement Category Manager for CapEx & Facilities, you’ll lead a complex spend area, partnering closely with business stakeholders to shape how we invest, innovate and grow.

What you’ll be doing

Leading a complex CapEx and facilities spend area across capital projects, production equipment and engineering services, managing £100m of external spend
Creating and delivering category strategies aligned to business and group priorities
Building strong partnerships with engineering and senior stakeholders to drive specification engagement and compliance
Providing market insight, data analysis and recommendations to support planning and decision making
Managing suppliers through effective relationship strategies to deliver against KPIs and unlock long-term value
Supporting strategic projects including major investments and new product launches
Driving continuous improvement and efficiency across sourcing activities and processes

What we’re looking for

Proven procurement experience in CapEx, engineering or technical categories
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge to drive value
Confident stakeholder manager, able to communicate and present effectively at all levels
Ability to turn strategy into action and deliver sourcing activity at pace
Strong data analysis and insight capability
Solid project management skills across complex sourcing events
Knowledge of procurement processes and controls, ideally with CIPS L5/6 qualification
