Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. Your leadership will drive innovation, uphold food safety protocols, and foster a vibrant, collaborative kitchen environment. In Addition to salary, you will receive a performance-based bonus and a share of the service charge, rewarding your contribution to the success of the business.

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food production
Develop innovative menus that delight guests and reflect current culinary trends
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation excellence
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize kitchen operations
Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen activities
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development
Demonstrated team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivating staff
Solid kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
Excellent understanding of food production processes and restaurant operations
Strong communication skills to effectively lead your team and collaborate with other departments
Passion for hospitality, serving guests with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail
