Pharmacist (Pharmacy Manager) – Titan Pharmacy (Makans Ltd Group)
Location: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire
Salary: £60,000 per annum + Generous Commission / Bonus Scheme
Hours: 45 hours per week (9:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, including a paid 30-minute lunch break)

We are currently seeking a motivated and patient-centred Pharmacist to join our team and play a key role in the continued growth of our NHS and private healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Deliver outstanding patient care and customer service at all times.
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
- Perform clinical and accuracy checks to ensure prescriptions are safe and appropriate.
- Maintain full compliance with GPhC standards, NHS requirements, and all relevant legislation, including controlled drug management.
- Provide professional advice on medicines, minor ailments, and healthcare services.
- Deliver NHS and private clinical services.
- Identify opportunities to expand and develop pharmacy services to meet patient needs.
- Support, supervise, and mentor pharmacy team members to maintain high standards of performance.
- Liaise effectively with GPs, PCNs, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote health and wellbeing initiatives within the local community.
- Contribute to achieving operational, service, and business objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Qualified Independent Prescriber (IP) or working towards Independent Prescriber qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration community pharmacy experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound professional decisions.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and patient-focused approach.
- Experience delivering NHS pharmacy services and clinical consultations.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience delivering private healthcare services.
- Experience leading or supervising pharmacy teams.
- Vaccination and clinical service accreditations.
- Knowledge of pharmacy business development and service growth initiatives.
