Full job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a General Assistant to join our team in a bustling cafe environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Duties:

- Support kitchen staff with food preparation

- Assist in maintaining food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen

- Help withclosing procedures

- Aid in time management to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements:

- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions and inventory

- Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not necessary

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
