Retail Assistant / Store Team Member / Evenings

Shop Around the Clock – St Michaels, UK

Shop Around the Clock is a proudly independent, medium-sized convenience store located in the heart of St Michaels. We’re thrilled to be ranked among the Top 100 Independent Convenience Stores in the UK for the second year running — and we’re growing!

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our friendly team and help deliver outstanding service to our local community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service at all times – greet customers with a smile and offer help where needed.
Carry out stock replenishment across soft drinks, dairy, alcohol, and grocery sections.
Ensure all areas of the store are clean, well-organized, and fully stocked.
Assist with offloading deliveries and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Operate the till when required (full training provided).
Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability throughout the week.
A great team player who takes pride in their work.
Being able to work well individually & in a team – full training provided!

Shift Pattern & Hours

Typical shift: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Must be available for at least one weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
5–10 hours per week (1–2 shifts), with the potential for additional hours as the store continues to grow.
