Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic preschool teacher to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through engaging activities and personalised care, ensuring they develop essential skills in their formative years. The ideal applicant will possess strong management and leadership qualities, with experience working with children in nursery or early childhood education settings.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development in line with curriculum standards
Supervise and support children during playtime, learning sessions, and mealtimes to ensure safety and engagement
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and guardians
Manage classroom organisation, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, safe environment
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices, including behaviour management and conflict resolution
Collaborate with colleagues to develop programme improvements and organise special events or activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
Demonstrated management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and empathetically
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and organisational skills
Knowledge of child development stages and appropriate pedagogical approaches
Strong organisational skills to manage classroom resources efficiently
