Full job description

Dispatch & Order Processing Operative

Monday to Friday | No Weekends

We are looking for a detail oriented and organised individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy to join our team in a hybrid role supporting both Order Processing and Dispatch operations.

This varied role combines office based order administration with hands on warehouse and fulfilment activities, offering a balance of administrative and operational responsibilities within a busy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing

Process customer orders accurately using the company inventory management system.
Allocate stock and generate consignment documentation for dispatch.
Ensure order information is entered correctly and completed within required timescales.

Dispatch & Warehouse Operations

Pick and pack products accurately by batch number and quantity.
Carry out stock replenishment activities to maintain designated picking locations.
Complete routine stock checks and inventory verification activities.
Receive incoming deliveries and verify products against purchase documentation.
Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored and maintained within designated locations.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Adhere to company procedures and safe manual handling practices at all times.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and a positive approach to work.

Desirable

Previous experience using order processing or inventory management systems.
Previous warehouse, dispatch or stock control experience.
Experience working within a regulated or quality focused environment.

Employment is subject to satisfactory references, right to work verification and a Basic DBS check due to the nature of the products handled within the business.
