Overview

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Metalworker / Fabricator & Brass Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing high-quality metal components with a focus on brass applications. Your expertise will help bring innovative metal projects to life, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every piece. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about metal fabrication and dedicated to delivering exceptional results through hands-on work and technical skill.

Duties

Use various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts with precision.
Perform TIG/MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metals securely and accurately.
Fabricate sheet metal components by measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling according to specifications and on site.
Work with brass materials to create detailed decorative or functional pieces, applying specialised techniques as needed.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials.

Requirements

Proven experience in metalworking or fabrication, with a strong focus on brass and sheet metal projects.
Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding, welding, and the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Mechanical knowledge of metal properties, fabrication processes, and assembly techniques.
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
Familiarity with sheet metal work, including cutting, bending, forming, and finishing surfaces.
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent manual dexterity for intricate work.
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to welding and metal fabrication environments.
