Potters is a Berkshire based multi-million-pound turnover engineering company established in 1964. We provide fine-limit sheet metal fabrications to a variety of industry sectors including electronics, medical, telecommunications, retail and vending. We are looking to add a team member to our existing busy Powder Coating department. If you are a someone that is interested in learning Powder Coating professionally please apply to this role.
As Powder Coater, your remit will include but not be limited to the following:
- Preparation & degreasing of metal work prior to starting the powder coating process.
- Be capable of powder coating all parts to high standard, efficiently and consistently to customer quality expectations and timeframes.
- Ensure safe working and correct use of PPE.
- Other tasks associated with this role could include component preparation and pre-treatment, line loading & unloading, masking to ensure that tight deadlines are maintained.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, selection and apply material specifications.
Pay is dependent on experience.
Work Hours - 7.30am - 4.00 pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am - 1:00pm (Friday)
