Full job description

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in all aspects of Fanuc controls.

Preferably the candidate would

Be fully skilled time served Miller with CNC experience;
Have extensive experience of Setting and Programming CNC machinery;
Have a good working knowledge of Fanuc Controls
Able to create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes;
Able to interpret engineering drawings and written/verbal instructions;
Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment;
Have a flexible, friendly and positive approach;

This role offers stability and the opportunity to work on varied projects.

There is usually plenty of overtime.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify designs.
Conduct quality checks using hand tools and basic math to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Summary

As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring high-quality manufacturing processes. You will utilise your core mechanical knowledge. alongside premium skills in SolidWorks, and turning to meet production targets. Your relevant skills in hand tools, basic math, and assembly will further enhance your effectiveness in this role. Join our team to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
