Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen operations and leading a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling costs related to food production.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with an emphasis on creativity in food preparation.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
