Full job description

About The Role

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative finance team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day accounting activities across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative or early finance experience who enjoys a varied role and wants to make an immediate impact within a growing and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders and delivery notes
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing supplier payments (BACS)
Supporting monthly reporting and period-end processes
Managing company credit card reconciliations
Assisting with sales ledger tasks, including allocating customer receipts
Providing regular administrative support to the Sales department (Sales Admin tasks).
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting timesheet collation and overtime tracking
Collaborating with teams across the business during busy periods

✅ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Experience in an administrative role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

Desirable:

Experience in a finance or accounts environment
Knowledge of purchase ledger processes or basic accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Opera or similar)
