Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an proactive, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in, and have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse and logistic operations and warehouse management systems. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment and would suit someone with a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Accurately process all incoming deliveries
Flag and deal with stock shortages or damages promptly
Process customer returns and warranties efficiently
Handle all returns to suppliers
Ensure all areas of the warehouse are organised and tidy so parts can be easily located
Implement process improvements to optimise workflow and reduce costs
Ensure stock taking is accurate. Manage the organisation of stock storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.

Skills and Experience

Great written and verbal communication skills
Experience of warehouse management and coordination (not necessarily within the automotive sector
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work unsupervised, use initiative, and take ownership of tasks
Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple priorities
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation
Physically fit and able to handle materials safely
Good I.T. skills

Pay: £32,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
