The Company:

For 13 years BOXPARK has been offering our famous EAT.DRINK.PLAY experience with unrivalled street food, bars, shops and entertainment all under one roof. Here at PLAYBOX we take the PLAY very seriously! Bringing unmatched vibes to BOXPARK Croydon with electric shuffle, interactive darts, an arcade and even our own karaoke rooms!

We are on the lookout for some passionate people to join the team and help us deliver the ultimate PLAYBOX Experience. From banging brunches to full venue takeovers, every week brings something new and everyday is a good day! Experience is a preference but personality is a must!

Must be available to work on evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting guests and checking them in using our reservations system.
Dealing with basic trouble shooting on the games and helping guests make the most of their time with us.
Helping deal with pre booking and party enquiries.
Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion.
Providing a friendly, welcoming, unique guest experience
Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge
Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable
Keep the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard
Operate Challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Pouring standards are to be adhered to always and regular pour tests completed
Always maintain a clean and tidy bar top and back bar
Take responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicate any issues to supervisors/managers

Key Skills & Experience:

In-depth understanding of all products and cocktails and how to prepare them
Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Punctual and reliable
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to work well within the team to achieve brand and sales objectives
Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions efficiently and quickly
Adhere to Boxpark’s uniform policy and basic hygiene standard
