JOB ADVERT MANAGER

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Specialist Forestry Arb Manager to implement and oversee forestry and arboriculture projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to forestry and arboriculture. The position involves hands-on work and project management/ organisation and ensuring ongoing productivity and management of a team of operators.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate forestry and arboriculture operations,
Oversee the operations of mechanical equipment for example excavators, tree handlers, chainsaws and MEWPs,
Management of a team of operatives,
Implement good forestry and arboricultural practice,
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental policies,
Communicate with customers as part of ongoing project management,

Experience

Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of excavators, tree handlers, tractors and machinery,
Experience of managing small teams and overseeing projects from start to finish,
Knowledge of environmental conservation practices within forestry or arb management roles.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in arboriculture or related fields are advantageous but not essential.

IT Literate
Full clean driving license

Pay: Up to £250.00 per day
