Qualified Dental Nurse – Full Time

Tamworth Road Dental Practice | Long Eaton

Full-time | Permanent | From £13.00 per hour dependant on experience

Tuesday–Friday | 8:30am–5:30pm

Tamworth Road Dental Practice is looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our established team in Long Eaton.

We are a family-run, mixed NHS and private dental practice with a long-standing patient base and a friendly, supportive team. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit practice and takes pride in providing excellent care and a welcoming experience for our patients.

Newly qualified dental nurses are very welcome to apply, as well as experienced nurses.

About the role

This is a varied position combining chairside dental nursing and reception duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing chairside assistance to our dentists

- Preparing surgeries and maintaining excellent infection-control standards

- Supporting a range of NHS and private treatments

- Welcoming and communicating with patients

- Booking and managing appointments

- Handling telephone and patient enquiries

- Using EXACT dental software

- Working closely with the wider team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

- Helping us provide a friendly and positive experience from the moment a patient enters the practice

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

- A qualified Dental Nurse and GDC registered, or newly qualified and completing registration

- Friendly, approachable and compassionate

- Reliable and punctual

- A genuine team player

- Confident communicating with patients

- Calm and professional when the practice is busy

- Organised with good attention to detail

- Willing to help both clinically and on reception

- Positive and willing to learn

- Passionate about providing excellent patient care

Previous experience with EXACT is helpful but not essential, as support can be provided.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will fit well within our team and wants to become a valued, long-term member of the practice.

Our location is particularly convenient for candidates based in Long Eaton, Sawley, Breaston, Sandiacre, Stapleford, Beeston, Ilkeston, Castle Donington and surrounding Nottingham/Derby areas.
