Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various types of buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work at heights. The position offers an opportunity to develop your expertise within a reputable organisation committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards. You must have previous experience in roofing to be considered for this position.

Areas of expertise:

Full re roof in concrete tiles, clay, slate and cement fibre. All aspects of flat EPDM rubber roofing. skylight installations and velux windows. Fascia and soffit replacements. Guttering installations.

Duties:

- Assist with the installation and repair of roofs, including tiles, and roofing materials

- Prepare work areas by removing debris and cleaning surfaces

- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions

- Assist with the application of waterproofing materials and sealants

- Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure efficient project completion

- Perform general labour tasks such as lifting heavy materials, operating hand tools, and cleaning work areas

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing (4+ years)
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks
Physical fitness to carry out heavy lifting and work at heights for extended periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
