Full job description

The role

You’ll take full operational ownership of our Stockport kitchen — leading the team, keeping standards high, and making sure every order goes out fast, accurate, and on time across all of our brands and delivery platforms. A dedicated prep team handles food prep, so your focus is leadership, service flow, and operations — not prepping yourself. This is a hands-on management role for someone who leads from the front during service.

What you’ll do

Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen across multiple brands and delivery platforms
Lead, schedule, and motivate the kitchen team and drivers; handle rotas, training, and onboarding
Keep service flowing during peak periods and step in to unblock problems fast
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards (full compliance, audit-ready at all times)
Hit and protect targets on prep-to-dispatch times, order accuracy, food cost, and customer ratings
Manage stock, ordering, and waste; work with suppliers to keep costs in line
Monitor performance across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat and act on customer feedback
Coordinate the delivery driver team to keep dispatch times tight when it’s busy

What we’re looking for

A previous, proven track record of running a delivery-only, dark, or multi-brand kitchen (essential) — we need someone who has already done this role, not learned it here
A natural leader who can build, train, and get the best out of a team under pressure
Calm and decisive during busy service; able to juggle multiple brands at once
Strong grip on food cost, stock control, and waste
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene preferred)
Comfortable with delivery platform dashboards and basic reporting
Reliable, organised, and genuinely takes ownership of results

What we offer

£28,000 – £32,000 per year, depending on experience
Performance bonus tied to ratings, order accuracy, and food cost

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
