Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Shop Technician to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive repair and a keen eye for detail. Pay grade DOE

Duties

Repair and refinish damaged vehicle panels, frames, and other components using specialised tools and techniques.
Assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and parts replacement.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment efficiently and safely.
Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with colleagues to complete repairs within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct quality checks on repaired vehicles to ensure all work meets company standards before customer delivery.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or bodywork preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Prior experience in a body shop environment is essential
