Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access
Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
Perform regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or disorderly conduct
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behaviour and intervening when necessary
Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations, including administering first aid if required
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Record incidents accurately in incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to maintain order and safety

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is advantageous.
Valid first aid certification is highly desirable
Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable hours as required
A professional appearance and demeanour that reflects positively on the organisation
Ability to pass relevant background checks and security vetting processes
Hold a vaild SIA license

This role is vital in creating a safe environment for all patrons and staff. We value professionalism, attentiveness, and integrity in our team members.

Mainly looking for someone to work Friday and Saturday evenings

Pay: £14.00 per hour
