Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Site Manager with a background in joinery to lead and oversee all aspects of our construction in bridge construction projects on-site. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within scope, budget, and schedule. As a Site Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, and maintain high standards of quality, health and safety. Your leadership will drive project success from inception to completion, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and excellence.

Duties

Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines
Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives with enthusiasm and professionalism
Monitor project progress
Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to avoid project disruptions
Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel
Oversee quality control processes to meet project standards and client expectations
Maintain detailed documentation of site activities, progress reports, incident logs, and compliance records.
Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar leadership role in construction engineering projects
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, coordinate multiple contractors, and manage resources efficiently
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality assurance practices, and environmental standards on construction sites
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, senior management, team members.
